David B. Throneburg, O.D.

Dr. Throneburg received his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University. He received his doctor of optometry degree from the Pacific University College of Optometry and completed a cancer externship at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and corneal externship at Oregon Health Sciences University. He is a member of the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Throneburg joined Carolina Eye Associates in 1997. He lives in Southern Pines, where he enjoys spending time with his family. His hobbies include training and participating intriathlons, backcountry snowboarding, and golf.
